I spent my youth reading classic children’s books. One of them was a staple of my mother’s childhood as well – Being Nice is Lots of Fun, served as inspiration for writing this book. I believe that teaching and reminding the importance of small acts of kindness can bring people together.

HOW TO USE THIS BOOK

The simplistic approach of this book is meant to be carried out through a lifetime.

Welcome to the World

As an infant or toddler, this book will lay the foundation for simple, positive behaviors. As they learn to walk, speak, and interact, they’ll understand how to treat others with kindness and respect.

Time to Read

These books were written with young readers in mind. Reinforce these positive behaviors as your young reader starts to sound out letters and understand the meaning behind the words they’re reading.

Be a Role Model

Encourage your teenager to share the message of this book with others. Whether they are babysitting or reading to a younger sibling, they can talk about how these behaviors are simple, but important. It never hurts to display them yourself, as actions speak louder than words.

New Parents

As the babies who read this book become parents themselves, they can carry this book and its timeless message to the new additions to their families.

The Next Generation

There is a special relationship between grandparent and grandchild, and this is a book that will create a wonderful bond between the generations in your family. Everyone can benefit from the messages found in Be a Superhero that I hope will last a lifetime.
